How we work
In Türkiye an official translation is produced by a yeminli tercüman — a sworn translator registered with a notary office — and the translation then goes through noter onayı, certification by a Turkish notary. A Ukrainian notarised translation is not a basis for Turkish authorities. In the other direction the Ukrainian procedure applies: an apostilled Turkish document is translated here and certified by a Ukrainian notary.

Frequently asked questions
Why will a Turkish authority not accept our translation?
Because Türkiye recognises a translation by a sworn translator registered with a Turkish notary office, followed by certification at a notary (noter onayı). Ukrainian notarial certification is a different procedure for them. We prepare the document so it can be taken through the Turkish route, and explain what to do locally.
Is an apostille needed for Türkiye?
Yes, Türkiye is party to the Hague Convention. The apostille on a Ukrainian document is obtained in Ukraine before translation.
I need to submit a Turkish document in Ukraine — what now?
The usual procedure here: the Turkish document needs an apostille from the Turkish authorities, then we translate it into Ukrainian and certify it with a Ukrainian notary.
