How we work
In Spain an official translation is produced by a traductor jurado — a sworn translator accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Their signature and stamp carry weight on their own, with no notary involved, and Spanish authorities generally do not accept a Ukrainian notarised translation. Latin American countries apply different rules that vary from one to the next, so we check the route by destination rather than by language.

Frequently asked questions
What is a traductor jurado, and is one mandatory?
A translator accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs whose translation is official without a notary. For submissions to Spanish public bodies it is usually mandatory. For a company's or university's internal purposes an agency-sealed translation is sometimes enough — it depends on who receives it.
Does a Ukrainian document need an apostille for Spain?
Usually yes; Spain is party to the Hague Convention. The apostille is obtained in Ukraine before translation. Exceptions exist for documents submitted through a consulate.
What do I do with a diploma for working in Spain?
Recognition of the qualification goes through homologación or equivalencia at the Spanish education ministry. We do not carry that out ourselves, but we prepare the file: apostille, translation of the diploma and its supplement, and formatting to requirements.
