How we work
Italy follows its own procedure, and a Ukrainian notary plays no part in it. Translations are certified through asseverazione — the translator swearing an oath before a court official or notary in Italy. Diplomas additionally require a dichiarazione di valore: a statement from an Italian consulate explaining what your educational document means within the Italian system. These two procedures are the ones people confuse most often, and a confused file fails at submission.

What is a dichiarazione di valore and when is it needed?
A statement from an Italian consulate explaining to an Italian institution what your educational document is worth: the level, the length of study, the rights it confers. It is required for admission to Italian universities, recognition of a diploma and some employment procedures. The consulate issues it, not an agency — we prepare the documents you take there.
Is a Ukrainian notarised translation enough for Italy?
For official submission, usually not. Italy works through asseverazione: the translator swears an oath before a court official or notary inside Italy. The exception is documents submitted via an Italian consulate in Ukraine, where the procedure differs. Tell us where you are submitting and we will check.
Is an apostille required?
For a Ukrainian document, yes — Italy is party to the Hague Convention. It is obtained in Ukraine, before translation.
