How we work
Neither Bulgaria nor Greece recognises just any translator. In Bulgaria the translation must be produced by an agency holding a current contract with the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and is then notarised. In Greece official translations are traditionally made by Ministry of Foreign Affairs translators, accredited lawyers or consulates. A Ukrainian notarised translation is not a basis in either case, so we determine the route by the receiving authority.

Why will a Bulgarian authority not accept our translation?
Bulgaria recognises translations from agencies holding a current contract with the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, followed by notarisation. That is a different procedure from the Ukrainian one. We prepare the document so it can be taken through that route and explain what to do locally.
Is an apostille required for Greece?
Yes, Greece is party to the Hague Convention. A Ukrainian document is apostilled in Ukraine, before translation.
