How we work
Swedish institutions pay close attention to form: a translation is accepted when it is not only accurate in substance but also names things as the local system names them — a degree, a job title, a type of certificate. The second point is the auktoriserad translator: some institutions require a translation by an authorised translator, and Ukrainian notarial certification does not replace that. So we establish where the file is going before the work starts, not after.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Swedish authorised translator?
For some institutions, yes. It is a separate status granted by a Swedish authority, and Ukrainian notarial certification does not substitute for it. Tell us where you are submitting the document and we will check the requirement before work begins.
Is an apostille needed on Ukrainian documents?
Usually yes, for official documents. The apostille goes on the original, and the document is then translated together with it. The reverse order means repeating the procedure.
How is the name of my degree translated?
We find the Swedish equivalent and keep the original title alongside it. A literal rendering of a degree name often tells an admissions board nothing.
How long does it take?
Swedish is rarer than English, so allow extra time. Send the documents for assessment and the manager will give a realistic deadline rather than a hopeful one.
