How we work
Educational documents are apostilled by the Ministry of Education, and that is a separate procedure with its own timescale: the document is first verified against the institution's register. This makes an apostille on a diploma slower than one on a civil status certificate, and it is worth planning well ahead of an admissions deadline. The second point is the transcript: without it a diploma is rarely considered at all, because the subjects, hours and grades are in the transcript.

Frequently asked questions
Does the transcript need a separate apostille?
Yes, the transcript is a separate document with its own number, and an apostille on the diploma does not cover it. Admissions boards almost always ask for both, so doing them together is cheaper and faster than coming back for the transcript later.
How long does an apostille on a diploma take?
Longer than on a certificate: the Ministry of Education verifies the document against the institution's register. A manager will give the timescale after seeing the document — it depends on the year of issue and on whether the institution still exists.
The diploma is from the Soviet period — what then?
The procedure is more involved: an archival record from the successor institution is often needed first. Send a photograph of the document and the manager will say whether what you have is enough.
Is an apostille the same as recognition of a diploma?
No. An apostille only confirms that the document is genuine. Recognition of the qualification is carried out by an authorised body in the destination country, and an agency cannot replace it — we prepare the file the application is built from.
